About PapierPDF
What is PapierPDF?
A platform with 65 tools for PDFs and images: merge, split, compress, convert, edit, sign, protect, scan and more. It is a ZENITH product, made in Colombia.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You just open it and use the tools, with no sign-up and without leaving your email.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, on a computer and on a phone. You can also install it as an app from Chrome or Edge, and choose it to open your PDFs.
Does it work offline?
The tools that run on your device keep working offline once loaded. The AI features do need internet.
Privacy of your files
Are my files uploaded to any server?
No. They are processed in your own browser and never leave your device. The only exceptions are the AI features (summarizing, translating, handwriting transcription and the writing review): they send the text only if you allow it, and it isn’t stored.
How do I check that nothing is uploaded?
Open your browser’s developer tools (F12 → Network) and process a file: you won’t see any request carrying your document. Step-by-step guide in our privacy policy
Where do the files I process end up?
In this browser’s History, so you can use them again. Only you can see them, and you can delete them any time from “History”.
Plans and membership
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The 55 tools are free forever and unlimited, because they run on your device and cost us nothing. We only charge for the AI that runs on servers.
How do I pay and how do I activate Pro?
Message us on WhatsApp or email, pay by bank transfer or Nequi and we send you your code. You activate it under “Free plan”, in the menu, and it is ready in that browser.
What happens to my files in the Pro features?
They are sent to an AI server only when you allow it, processed and sent back. We don’t keep them or use them for anything else.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes. There is no lock-in: the monthly plan simply doesn’t renew, and the yearly one covers you until it ends.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes, in the name of the person or the company, on the paid plans.
What does the free plan include?
The 55 tools with no limit and 3 daily trials of the AI features.
How do I activate my PapierPDF Pro code?
In the menu, open the plan box, tap “I have an access code”, paste the code and tap “Activate”. You will see your card with your name and plan.
Does my code work on several devices?
Yes. Activate it in each browser where you use PapierPDF (computer, phone). It is personal: don’t share it.
What happens when my plan expires?
You go back to the free plan: all the tools stay available and the AI features go back to their daily trials. To renew, write to us.
Using the tools
What is the maximum file size?
100 MB per file, because it is processed in your browser’s memory. For larger files, ZENITH offers PapierPDF Local, which runs on your computer.
Is PDF to Word identical to the original?
It keeps text, tables, images, headings and alignment in the vast majority of documents. Very complex layouts (floating boxes, SmartArt graphics) may need a minor adjustment in Word.
Does OCR read handwriting?
“OCR PDF” recognizes printed text on your device. For handwriting or difficult photos, use “Transcribe document” with AI.
Is a PapierPDF signature legally valid?
“Sign PDF” puts your handwritten signature on the document. If you need a digital signature with legal validity, use “Certified digital signature” with your certificate (.p12 or .pfx).
Who is Papier?
PapierPDF’s assistant. Ask it which tool to use or how to do something, and it takes you straight to it.
